What Terrane is intended to represent
Terrane is intended to construct evidence-backed, multi-resolution models of complex systems. Software systems are the first domain: repository observations become a queryable representation of symbols, dependencies and provenance.
Observation is not inference
A directly observed import and an inferred architectural relationship must remain distinguishable. The model should retain the source of each claim and the boundaries of its coverage.
Availability
No executable commands, API compatibility promises or performance guarantees are published here until a specific release and its supporting documentation have been verified.
